This week, we MUST highlight the incredible Café Crêpe located at 41003 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Yes, get excited because…you can find authentic French crêpes in Big Bear! You will NOT want to miss this unique crêperie and local Big Bear restaurant hot spot!
What we love about this Big Bear Restaurant
Not only does Café Crêpe serve the most delicious authentic French crêpes and organic coffee, they do so with a friendly staff and a convenient drive through. I couldn’t choose between their sweet and savory options, so I went ahead and ordered one of each and I am so glad I did! The Little Goat savory crêpe (with goat cheese, alfalfa honey, and roasted almonds) was delightful and the Deja Vu sweet crêpe (with banana, and nutella or their house made chocolate…I went with the chocolate) was the perfect treat. I also ordered a latte, because I’m a firm believer that crêpes and coffee go together, and I could immediately tell it was gourmet and made with love. I would absolutely put this on the best restaurants in Big Bear list!
There is so much to rave about when it comes to Café Crêpe, such as how they carefully source their ingredients ensuring their customers are met with the freshest, healthiest, and highest quality ingredients available. Or how they are committed to sustainability practices, reflected in the many steps they take to reduce their environmental footprint (such as serving organic and fair-trade coffee, using locally sourced ingredients, honoring a discount if you bring your own mug, and offering plant-based and vegetarian menu options). Or how the Founder of Café Crêpe moved to Big Bear from France in 2018, making this unique and most welcome addition to Big Bear’s local restaurant scene as authentic as it gets! If you are looking for a restaurant in Big Bear that cares about their customers, sustainability, and authenticity, Café Crêpe checks all those boxes!
Café Crêpe serves crepes and coffee most days of the week from 9 am to 4 pm except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So make sure you save your crêpe cravings for Thursday thru Monday. We will absolutely visit Café Crêpe again, as there are many menu options we can’t wait to try. Their location on Big Bear Blvd. coupled with their drive through make it super convenient to grab a coffee and crêpe and we are thrilled to have this absolute gem in Big Bear! Next on our list are the Double Cream Salmon and Fireside (House Specialty) Crêpes. We definitely recommend this crêperie to all who live and visit Big Bear and are thrilled to have a little piece of France in Big Bear!
