Night Sessions at Snow Summit. Ride under the stars from 3pm-8:30pm. Night Sessions also available on Saturday 2/26.
Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure-Big Bear Lake Mini Quest – Combine the excitement of the Amazing Race with a two-hour city tour. Guided from any smart phone, teams make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Start when you want and play at your pace. Also available Saturday 2/26 and Sunday 2/27.

Winter Trails Day! 10am – 2pm Join the Trails Program at the Big Bear Discovery Center for Winter Trails Day. There will be a variety of booths and programs for families and folks of all ages. Nature walks, crafts, pinecone birdfeeders and more!
KROQ Storms Bear Mountain – FREE Concert @ Bear Mountain 11am – 2pm, featuring on-site vendors, prize giveaways, and a live performance by Sir Sly.
Eagle Viewing @ Dana Point Park – 10 am-1 pm. It is SUCH a special treat to join a volunteer naturalist and learn about the bald eagles (Jackie and Shadow) currently nesting in Fawnskin. Viewing scope will be set up to get a look at the eagles in their nest. Free!
Nature Crafts – 10 am – 10:45 am – Meet at the Big Bear Discovery Center for this weekend’s free nature craft!
Story Time at the Big Bear Discovery Center – 11 am-12 pm Have some family fun as you hear nature stories. Free!
Reading Animal Tracks – @ Big Bear Discovery Center 12pm-1pm – Learn how to spot and identify animal tracks and the different animals in the San Bernardino National Forest. Great fun for kids and adults.
Eagle Chat – 1pm-2pm Learn about Big Bear’s local bald eagle pair and learn facts and tales about this majestic bird. This event will take place at The Big Bear Discovery Center’s outdoor amphitheater. Free!
Nature Walks – Join a volunteer naturalist for a 1/2 mile nature walk and learn about Big Bear’s flora and fauna and Big Bear history! Walk takes place at Discovery Trail and is appropriate for all ages. 1 pm – 1:45 pm OR 2 pm – 2:45 pm. Free!
Crestline Clean-Up – Join a clean-up in the nearby Crestline area. Volunteers are welcome to help clean up the forest. Pre-registration is required.

Pinecone Bird Feeder Craft – Make your own pinecone birdfeeder at the Big Bear Discovery Center! 10am – 1pm. Free!
Nature Walk – Join a volunteer naturalist for a nature walk and learn about Big Bear’s flora and fauna and Big Bear history. Walk takes place at Discovery Trail and is appropriate for all ages. 11 am – 11:45 pm OR 12 pm – 12:45 pm.
USASA BOARDERCROSS 1 & 2 – Snowboard and Freeski Competition Series – 10am – 3p m @ Bear Mountain. The USASA National Championship is the largest snowboard and freeskiing event in the world, and has been held consistently by the USASA for 29 years. The USASA is the first step in the Olympic pipeline for snowboarding and freeskiing.
